I should be getting alot more than 2.86 Mb/sec. I tried FTPing a file from the server to the workstation (just over the LAN) and I got the following:Ģ26 244.918 seconds (measured here), 2.86 Mbytes per second ![]() Now when I connect using a Gentoo box, my transfer rates are way down. ![]() I used to connect to a Gentoo server from an XP machine using Samba and got great transfer rates.
